Once you've picked up your dream car from our dealership, it's time to explore! San Diego County is a treasure trove of scenic drives. Whether it's a cruise along the Pacific Coast Highway or a trip to the Anza-Borrego Desert, your used car from Dream Machine in National City is your ticket to freedom.

Here are some ways to expand on the idea of exploring San Diego County in your new ride:

Take a drive up the coast on the Pacific Coast Highway. Stop at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve for incredible ocean views and hiking trails. Continue north to Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, and Carlsbad to check out cute beach towns, restaurants, and more scenic overlooks along the bluffs.

Head inland to Julian for apple pie, quaint shops, and mountain scenery. The drive there through rolling hills and forests is half the fun. Continue east on scenic backroads to explore Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and its unique landscapes.

Cruise through scenic East County. Drive through Alpine for a taste of rural living with its farms and ranches. Continue on to Descanso to see the botanic gardens and oak forests. Stop for a picnic at Lake Cuyamaca.

Take a weekend trip to the mountains. Drive through pine forests on the Sunrise Highway to the artsy town of Idyllwild. Hike to waterfalls, rock climb, and enjoy the small-town vibe. For more majestic mountain scenery, head farther east to Anza-Borrego Desert and take the scenic drive up to Palomar Mountain.

Meander through North County's beach towns like Oceanside, Carlsbad, and Encinitas. Pop into tide pools, art galleries, and cafes. Don't miss the famous California burrito and fish tacos. End the day watching the sunset over the ocean with a beach bonfire.

With so many options, your new set of wheels makes it easy to have an epic daytrip or weekend getaway in San Diego County! Let us know if you need any other suggestions for places to explore in your new car.
